After four wonderful seasons in Victoria, the NCL Finals are coming home to Western Australia in 2026.
This wasn’t a decision we made lightly. We were excited to be holding a Finals at Ninja Nation, a facility we have a great deal of respect for. However, when the opportunity emerged to bring the NCL Finals back to WA at the soon-to-open West Coast Warriors gym run by Aaron Pietzch, we felt we had to take it!
The Ninja Challenge League is a national competition and it has always been our intent to see the NCL Finals move around to different facilities and grow the sport in different regions.
Ninja in Victoria is in a great place and doesn’t need a fifth straight NCL Finals to keep the scene thriving thanks to the excellent work of our partner facilities like Geelong Ninjas, The Compound, Fighting Lyons, Glad Movement and Ninja Nation.
West Coast Warriors represents a new chapter in ninja for Western Australia and we want to do everything we can to support it and reinvigorate the ninja scene in our home state by having it host the NCL Finals.
Located within walking distance of the iconic Scarborough Beach entertainment precinct, West Coast Warriors as a Finals venue offers more than just a ninja facility, it’s a chance to experience the best Western Australia has to offer – including our signature jaw-dropping sunsets.
We apologise for making this change at the precipice of the season starting, but this has only emerged recently and we had to do our due diligence before making the change.
Ninja Nation has graciously supported the decision and this change in no way a reflection of how we feel about Ninja Nation and they are first in line to hold an NCL Finals when we return to Victoria!
We know it’s a bit further to travel for those in the eastern states, but we hope to see you for an amazing event in Perth in September/October.
