The Ninja Challenge League Youth Finals are the culmination of the 2025 season, where the best youth ninja athletes from across Australia come together to compete across three challenging stages to achieve Total Victory.
The NCL Youth Finals will feature three divisions:
Course videos and rules for the NCL Youth Finals 2025 will be released on Tuesday 31 September on our YouTube channel and linked to below once available.
Additionally, all competitors and spectators are required to adhere to our general rules and meet the standard of behaviour expected of our Finals athletes.
If a competitor is issued a red flag by an NCL official for failing an obstacle or breaking a rule, they may request a review of the ruling by the NCL Commissioner if they believe the call was incorrect.
If a competitor is issued a yellow flag by an NCL official, it means that the official is uncertain whether a rule was broken and will check the video footage to make a final call afterwards. The video footage must show clear evidence of breaking a rule or failing an obstacle, otherwise no infraction will be issued and the run will stand.
If an NCL official does not issue a yellow flag during a competitor’s run, they cannot check the video footage afterwards to alter the competitor’s official result. Essentially, if a run has no flags, there will be no review.
The only exception to this is when an NCL official is also a competitor, in which case the NCL Commissioner may review their run as a neutral party before finalising results.
Competitors who have accepted their invitations and purchased a ticket to the NCL Youth Finals will compete on Wednesday 1 October and Thursday 5 October 2025 at Geelong Ninjas in Geelong, Victoria.
The Finals will consist of up to three stages of competition over the course of the weekend.
The run order for ALL STAGES in all divisions will be determined by how many points competitors scored at events throughout the year, with the highest-scoring competitors running later in their division.
Competitors will not be allowed to practice any part of the course unless otherwise specified on the day.
Competitors are only allowed one attempt to clear a stage.
Competitors must complete each stage within the designated time limit (where applicable), beginning with Stage One to progress to the next stage.
If a competitor fails an obstacle on Stage One or Stage Two, they can use the remainder of their time limit to unofficially attempt the remaining obstacles on that stage.
If a competitor falls on Stage Three, their run will immediately end.
If less than 10 competitors in an age division clear Stage One, then as many non-finishers as needed to reach 10 competitors will advance to Stage Two for unofficial runs, based on furthest-fastest on Stage One.
If less than 5 competitors in an age division clear Stage Two, then as many non-finishers as needed to reach 5 competitors will advance to Stage Three for unofficial runs, based on furthest-fastest on Stage Two.
The top boys and girls in each age division of the NCL Youth Finals 2025 will also qualify to compete in the World Ninja League World Championships in the United States in mid-2026.
The number of qualifying spots will be based on the number of participants from each state in each division and will be determined after the conclusion of the event.
