Ninja Challenge League Finals 2022

The Ninja Challenge League’s 20-21 season was severely disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and as a result of the WA Government’s border policy many of our competitors were unable to travel into Western Australia to compete.

While we appreciate that this policy has saved lives in Western Australia, it has made it difficult to manage a national sports league, which has led to a significant change for the 2022 Finals.

Ninja Academy has been a great partner of the NCL in previous seasons, and we are grateful for its contributions to the growth of the league, but to make it easier to hold a truly national Finals event along with other considerations, NCL Finals 2022 will be held in a venue other than Ninja Academy for the first time in NCL history.

While the NCL Finals 2022 won’t feel exactly the same as previous events, the most important factor will be to have the entire country represented again.

After many discussions, we are proud to announce that the NCL Finals 2022 and NCL Youth Finals 2022 will both be held at The Compound Training in Melbourne, Victoria.

The NCL Youth Finals will run on Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday, September 29.

The NCL Finals for adults will run on Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2.

The Compound Training is one of the first facilities we worked with outside of Ninja Academy, and owner Clem Vertigan was in the first class of interstate competitors to attend the Ninja Challenge Finals in 2016.

We look forward to working with Clem and the team at The Compound Training to provide a different, but equally amazing Finals experience to the one our ninjas have become accustomed to.

We are extremely grateful to all the East Coast based competitors who have travelled west until now and but we look forward to hosting you a bit closer to home in 2022 and seeing how the WA ninjas perform outside of their home turf.

Competitor tickets for the NCL Finals and NCL Youth Finals will be available from July 1. Competitors who qualify for the NCL Youth Finals will have 14 days from July 1 or from the date of their qualifying event after July 1 to accept their invitation and purchase a ticket to the NCL Finals or NCL Youth Finals.
