In this update:

Please read carefully.

NCL Finals waiver

All competitors must sign the *new* online Compound Training Waiver for the NCL Finals: https://bit.ly/NCLWaiver2023

This has to be done before the day of competition even if you’ve attended The Compound Training before, so please do this urgently.

T-shirt collection

Your exclusive NCL Finals 2023 t-shirts have arrived and are available for collection at The Compound Training from tonight onwards.

Please note, these tees are printed to the size in your profile, so there will be no swaps or exchanges permitted.

Care instructions: As these are screen printed, if you want them to last for many years to come, be sure to only wash them in cold water and to line dry – no putting them in the dryer or the print will flake and come off!

Food and beverages

In addition to the food options located nearby (including a service station ~150m away), there will be a coffee van serving wraps present at the venue from 10am to 2pm on both days.

Livestream links

While most of you will be watching and attending in person, we know that many of our interstate travellers will have family and friends watching from back home, so the entire Finals event will be livestreamed.

Please note that in the event of a Total Victory – if someone does achieve a Total Victory, we would like the opportunity to share this momentous achievement on our own official pages before it is shared on any personal pages – we hope you can understand.

The adult streams are available publicly on our YouTube channel, so we encourage you to share the link as widely as possible to help increase traffic and help us attract the sponsors we need to keep growing the sport of ninja.

Live results

For those of you who attended last year, you know there was somewhat of a delay between the event ending and the results going up because we had to manually enter the results in after all the runs had ended – one competitor at a time.

This year, the results we put in our scoresheets will be automatically uploaded to our website, so you can keep track of how you’re ranking throughout the competition.

This is particularly important if you don’t hit a buzzer – if you got far enough, fast enough then you may be eligible for an unofficial run on the next stage.

NCL Adult Finals results will be uploaded here: https://www.ninjachallengeleague.com/finals/ninja-challenge-league-adult-finals-2023/

Australian Ninja Open results will be uploaded here: https://www.ninjachallengeleague.com/finals/australian-ninja-open-2023/

As a reminder, if less than 30 competitors in the adult division clear Stage One, then as many non-finishers as needed to reach 30 competitors will advance to Stage Two for unofficial runs, based on furthest-fastest on Stage One.

If less than 15 competitors in the young adult division clear Stage One, then as many non-finishers as needed to reach 15 competitors or 50 per cent of the field (whichever is smaller) will advance to Stage Two for unofficial runs, based on furthest-fastest on Stage One.

If less than 5 competitors in the adult division clear Stage Two, then as many non-finishers as needed to reach 5 competitors will advance to Stage Three for unofficial runs, based on furthest-fastest on Stage Two.

If less than 3 competitors in the young adult division clear Stage Two, then as many non-finishers as needed to reach 3 competitors will advance to Stage Three for unofficial runs, based on furthest-fastest on Stage Two.

Please note, even if someone hits a buzzer during their unofficial run, they will not progress to the next stage.
