The Australian Ninja Open (ANO) is the Ninja Challenge League’s team format, which will run concurrently with the NCL Finals (Adults) at West Coast Warriors in Western Australia in 2026.
The ANO will be open to all NCL Finals competitors (who will have their ANO entry included in their Finals entry).
All NCL Finals competitors will take on Stage One of the NCL Finals to determine who is eligible to enter the Ninja Draft and join a team after the conclusion of Stage One on Saturday 3 October.
There will be 10 teams in the 2026 Australian Ninja Open, with each team consisting of a team captain and three competitors.
To be entered into the Ninja Draft and participate in the team section, competitors must rank in the top 30 according to furthest fastest across all divisions (excluding team captains). See details on the full format below.
A special thanks to our sponsors Goodman Grips and SStuff Australia for supporting the NCL Finals.
Situated walking distance from scenic Scarborough Beach at 62 Scarborough Beach Road, West Coast Warriors is the new home of ninja training in Western Australia.
Located on a busy road, there is limited on-site parking available, but to make your NCL Finals experience a great one, our host facility has prepared a helpful location guide on how to get there via public transport, where to park nearby, places to eat and things to do in the area during wait times or outside of competition hours.
As our first NCL Finals back in Western Australia since 2021, we want to recognise those who have travelled the furthest to arrive here, based on travel distance to the airport that will fly them to Perth Airport.
We initially set out to have the furthest travelled Adult Male and Adult Female competitor from each participating state serve as team captains, but there were no Adult Female competitors from NSW or SA.
As a result, we have allocated two wildcard captain spots to the two next two furthest travelled competitors across all states.

Please note that times shown are a rough guide and the competition may run early or late, depending on the final time limits determined for each stage and the number of competitors who finish each stage.
This is particularly the case for Sunday 4 October 2026, and we recommend allowing until at least 6:00pm for any travel plans in case of delays.
There are two ways to watch the Ninja Challenge League Finals & Australian Ninja Open 2026 – watching in person by purchasing spectator tickets and attending West Coast Warriors or watching online by tuning in to our professionally filmed livestream on our YouTube Channel.
Can’t make it to watch in person? Tune in to all the action live with our professionally filmed livestream, with the broadcast hosted by NCL and Australian Ninja Warrior veteran Kadeem Aarons, along with a rotating cast of co-hosts.
Spectator tickets to the NCL Youth Finals are now available for purchase. A single ticket covers you for both days of the NCL Youth Finals, saving you time and effort when booking and checking in.
Spectator entry is $10.00 per person (plus Humanitix booking fees).
Please note there is limited capacity for spectators, so be sure to book in early to avoid disappointment.
Also note that if your want to bring a non-competing child to spectate, if they are either walking independently or 2 years old+, they will need a separate spectator ticket (as the parent of an almost two-year-old, the NCL Commissioner knows how much mischief little movers can get into).
IMPORTANT: Neither NCL Youth Finals competitors nor NCL Adult Finals competitors need to pay spectator entry to either the NCL Youth Finals on 30 September/1 October or the NCL Adult Finals & Australian Ninja Open on 3-4 October.
